Default Kenko Telephoto lens?

Hi fellas;

Can anyone advise whether this 3rd party brand Kenko is good? Cause I've been searching around on the web and it seems that Kenko offer the lowest in term of prices thus I was wondering whether is it good? Btw can Kenko telephoto len be fitted onto a Olympus C730UZ? Thanks for any advice in advanced.

Kenko has a wide range of telephoto lenses. There're lowend ones producing very poor quality and didn't meet specs (e.g. 1.3x instead of 2.0x speced) and there're highend ones which rivals the best.

From what I have gathered over the past year, only lowend ones are available here.

Chromatic abberation is also known as purple fringing. It's some purple thing that shows up against bright light.

Check this link for more details:

You're referring to teleconverter for SLRs (fitted between the body and the lens) which are different from those for digital cameras/video cameras (fitted in front of the lens).

I'm not too sure about these. You might want to start a new thread to get more relevant and specific responses.
