well, I tested both Hoya and Kenko cir polariser by looking at my computer LCD monitor thru it. look like the the Kenko did polarise the whole monitor to almost black. but not so with Hoya. with Hoya the monitor look more blue, it seems that the red and green is more polarise than the blue.is these an added feture ? cos most people like to use this kind of filter for the sky. so Hoya let in more blue.I just guessing.in fact by looking at a near by HDB block thru Kenko I get better polarsing effect then hoya. just a observation.

There is no hoya in Japan. Local filters are mainly Kenko, Marumi or Etsumi. Then you have Nikon. Occasionally I can find B+Ws here but they are rare to find.
