-==** THIRD MO3: The POD – Support Beanbag – S$35.00 **==-

Hi guys!

Following the success of the First TWO MOs, we have had some requests to organise a third MO for this product.

This is the THIRD MO for this product following two highly successful MOs and satisfied participants.

Previous two MOs here:

Description

The POD Beanbag support system is easy to use and is small enough to keep in your camera bag – weighing …and measuring 12.5 cm in diameter and 5 cm thick.

The POD is a camera platform support filled with plastic beans that is a breeze to attach and can be set-up virtually anywhere – just connect your camera to the universal locking bolt.

THE pod™ uses the industry standard Ό x 20 mounting bolt which comes standard on all makes and models of consumer cameras, including: SLR Cameras, Digital Cameras, Polaroid Cameras, Camcorders, Pocket Cameras and more.

· Usable where a tripod is not allowed
· No instructions or technical support required
· You can throw it against a wall and it wont break
· Attaches to any and every kind of camera
· Cram it into a backpack or suitcase
· No batteries required
· You can remove the filling if you really want to travel light then fill it up at your destination
· Will not scratch or mar surfaces
· Can support a lot of weight
· The ideal conversation piece
· A unique way of supporting cameras
· Can fit into tight spaces
· Limited only by your imagination

sorry can i ask a question, the last photo how did the bag stay on top of the metal bar without dropping? does it support any weight of the camera and still wont drop? tell me how it works..... if its stable i would want one....

To be honest, I don't know precisely as the photograph was not taken by me but by the manufacturers. I suppose it has to be placed carefully. Imagine putting a bean bag on top of a metal bar and pressing down hard - it then becomes stable as the "beans" would envelop and surround the bar. The camera on top of it would provide the weight down to further stablise the setup. Obviously however, if you use to big a camera or too long/heavy a lens, you would have some difficulty doing it.

By the way, the above is just my hypothesis - it may or may not be accurate.
