kind of scary looking at this photo, remind me of the award winning Hong Hong show "long min" or "cage people" (direct translation to english)

maybe make it b&w, then add some grainy effect..
give an old chinatown look...

Maybe besides the B&W, you can also try to saturate the colors more.
Give the photo a warmer feel.
