Default 80-200 or 70-200 VR pricing

Hey

Looking to get an 80-200 or 70-200 VR (mostly the former... latter too much $) when I'm back in Singapore in May. Could anyone tell me the current market pricing for these in the local market? I'm trying to figure out whether I should get one off the internet from places like www.b&hphotovideo.com or in Singapore, as from my experience, Singapore has been cheaper than N.America.

Thanks!

Lenses are generally more expensive in USA, but that doesn't mean it's cheaper in Singapore. In fact, many Singaporeans try to get lens from Hong Kong or even Malaysia.

USA lenses should be expensive, since they provide 5 years warranty (3rd-party like Tamron gives 6). Also, USA has excellent return policy - use a few days, dun like can refund in full.

For current local price, you can refer to the Nikon Price Guide 2006 sticky thread on the Nikon sub-forum.
