Dear All D200 Users,
Anyone D200 users outthere tried setting your shutter speed at 1/45 before? Under PASM mode, after 1/40, next is 1/50. Possible to set shutter at 1/45? I dun get it from the manuals or setting, Tell me if i'm missing something. Dave H.. |

From 1/40 to 1/50 is only one third stop increment, that is the minimum exposure setting increment in term of shutter speed and f-stop for modern DSLR
If from 1/40 to 1/45, or 1/45 to 1/50, that is only one sixth stop increment of exposure, it would not make any noticeable changes of exposure on the images. so 1/45 is redundant. |

normally it is 1/50 shutter in fact i dont even use 1/50, no point setting a 1/2 of 1/3 f-stop 1/40 --> "1/45" >> 1/6 f/s what is the point ? NO difference in exposure optically!

not sure if the d200 can change from 1/3 stop increaments to 1/2 stop increments.. if can, then u should be able to get your 1/45.
but of course u lose ur 1/3 stop increments.. which is 1/40 and 1/50
