Default black n white film

hi guys,

jus wondering if i wanna take the abvn, what recommended film should i use? i can onli see the kodak tcn400 @ my neighbourhood lab. does the 400 stands for the film speed. then if dat is so, the pic would be grainy rite?

tnx
T400CN is a chromogenic B&W film that uses dye layers rather than the normal B&W Silver-Halide layers. This means the film has no grain worth talking about and yes it's 400 speed film.
