Very cool shot.

Anyone else think that the bright patch in the sky looks like Singapore??

mEc - awesome photo !!

You obviously did not heed all the warnings about not photographing the solar eclipse huh ?

Did you use anything to protect your camera ? How did you frame this shot without looking directly at the sun ?

Well the pic is great...
It might be better if less of the sea is taken.

there's the smoke from the bush fire nearby covering the sun, so i dont think there's a need to protect the camera.

i just use the lcd on the camera to frame the shot loh, anyway this picture is cropped.

Well the pic is great...

same thinking, but this is the best i can do with cropping. the original picture has 50% water and 50% sky.
