huh? wat do u mean complimentary lens?
the word "kit" = there will be a lens together with the d50 body..

if the package has no lens, it will say "body only"
and btw, d50 package is a kit set, inside definitely has lens

sorry..is it AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5 - 5.6G ED (3.0x)?
btw, does it refer that it only have aperture f/3.5 to f/5.6 only? And a 3x zoom?

No. f/3.5~5.6 signifies the maximum aperture it can open up to. As for the minimum, it depends on individual glass. Common minimum aperture is f/22, some f/16 and some f/32.

3x, 2x, 100x, is all useless terms.

70-200VR = 2.8x but does it mean that it's shorter than 18-55?

500mm f/4 = 1x but does it mean it's shorter than 70-200VR and 18-55?

The actual range is more useful than just 'Xx' terms.

3x, 2x, 100x, refers to the zoom ratio, ie the longest focal length divided by the shortest for that particular lens. Some people find this information useful.

Oic! so this mean that during 18mm focal length the max f/ is 3.5. When 55mm focal length, the max is f/5.6 ?
So does anyone know what is the min f/ of nikkor 18-55mm lens?

Yep, that's right, however it might not be necessary that at 55 only then it's f/5.6 it probably will hit f/5.6 @ 50mm or even 45mm.

Minimum should be f/22 IIRC.
