Posting of phone numbers

I noticed some forumers posting their own personal phone numbers up on the forums.
This is not safe.

I think it's ok in Buy n Sell. But as for the other forums...

Not only mint, but I do notice a few other members who post their numbers.

Not sure about them though, for personally I'll never do it.

girls are affected i suppose. but B&S, to have a number there for contacts is important. there's always a good and bad side to this kinda situations. just gotta see whether you get the better or worse side of it.

BnS bo bian. Must put number for easy contact.

And, edit your post to remove the number once the product had been sold or withdrawn from sale.

But at other forums, I advise against putting your numbers up.

Are you sure you able to edit your own post in buy & sell, consumer corner?

If your concern is whether people are able to find out your phone number, regardless of whether you do it on B&S or whatever other section, its still in the forum and therefore searchable.

And as catchlights has mentioned, you cannot edit your post in B&S (due to other obvious reasons).
