Default Tungsten Lights for B/W Photography?

Why there are still photographers like to use Tungsten lights for B/W Photography? What are advantages/effects they have over Strobes?

Keeps the model warm when the aircon is too high

The 'warmth' of the colour (if WB set to daylight) transfers nicely into B&W, at least it did on film - gives a natural glow to the skin, I expect it will do the same in B&W, but will probably need to bump the contrast just a little during conversion.
