Sorry if I spoil the market..... I intend to charge at this rate cos I just want to help out those people with a very tight budget. I had intended to charge $288 to cover the cost of equipment and the additional $100 for the time spent for the day.

It is just my interest to do wedding photography and not make a living out of it. I really seek your understanding.... In addition, there will always be willing to pay good money to the Professional Photographers like EPSN , JoHo, Iamasaint cos they can command a prenium.

As for me, I enjoy photography and I am looking to cater to those who are not super rich. It is a different market so I dun think I am hurting someone's rice bowl.

Yes... this is a one whole day wedding. Terms and conditions needs to be discuused before I am willing to take the assigment.eg, if the couple wants prints and ablum, tat will be additional cost to them.

no worries, I'm asking because if I was not sure if you got your figs. right. If you know what you're doing, by all means charge whatever price you want. Do I think you're charging below the market rate? Yes I do. Does it bother me? Nah, it's a free market out there. Cheers!

what's required out of wedding album? any norm standards? sorry i may be asking newbie question...

do a search on clubsnap... u'll find alot of information, much more than what u've asked.

also, do take note, since u are still at "zero" (a good time to be picking up the right attitudes and habits) that shooting as the MAIN photographer is a onerous task. if its "practice" u seek, please, NOT as main photog...

ya i didnt want to be the main photographer too, but it seems that i'll be the ONLY photographer.

i certainly don't wanna ruin my fren's sis' wedding with bad photos man. hoping that my fren can get a pro then i be backup, then i can try to learn a few tips from the pro too.
