Canon Product Launch Hong Kong 11Mar06, with Bernice & Karen pics

I went down to Hong Kong 2 weeks ago, and learned from a magazine that Canon is holding a Product launch show featuring 30D and the new lens, including the 85f1.2L II which I m still drooling.. So decided to make a trip down to Apm Centre at Kwun Tung station to check out the event. Here r some pics to share:

The 85f1.2L mkII.. You may used it to take pics of karen, a beautiful model arranged by Canon if you hold some coupons.. too bad I didn't. They r kind enuff to let me try playing with it though, but when the model was taking a break..

Bernice was surrounded by press, photographers and fans. I could hardly get close enuff to take any shots within the firing distance of my 135mm lens, sorry that the pics r a bit dissapointing..

She's Karen, the model arranged by Canon for the show. Lucky fellas with coupons can try out the new 85f1.2L II and take pics of her. Pples without coupons like me can still shoot her from outside the barrier, but u won't be able to get her pose for u and unlikely to get any eye contact.

Flash is disallowed while taking her pics, probably to show off the low light capability of the 85f1.2L II. These pics r taken with my 135f2 without flash:

the camera strap is very fancy!

The camera strap is specially made by Canon as a gift to Bernice.

You can try any lens without coupons. But u will need coupon to use the 85f1.2L II to take pics of Karen.

As mentioned, she's a actress of TVB, 香港无线电视台

Acted in several recent Hong Kong TV series such as 皆大欢喜 etc.. I m not too familiar with tv series, perhaps others can add somemore info

Yes, I also think she really looks like cecilia cheung in several angles.

And also a little bit like Faye Wong in certain angle.
