For those who do not want to pay a lot of money for a slim filter to avoid that awful viginetting effect, Fotodiox slim UV filters are good and cheaper alternatives. Do a search on camera forums and you will know these are good multicoated filters at a very good price. The quality can be compared to Hoya's HMC filters.
