Warranty for Ridata CF

My 128 CF just went kaput. Went back to SLS to get it exchanged as its just a few months old.

Although the guy did an exchange for me, he claimed that CF cards don't come with any warranty. He did the exchange out of goodwill and there will not be another exchange if the current one fails.

CF cards no proper 1 year warranty? Must go for branded stuffs like kingston?

BTW, he exchanged my ridata for a hagiwara

Ridata have a 1 yr warrenty. Show him the receipt. Can someone comfirm this?

AP told me Ridata has 1yr warrenty.

so far...i bought one ridata at alan photo. they say the reciept is the one yr warranty lor.

then i bought another ultra [scandisk ultra version or so la...not sure], comes with a pcmcia reader at 108, they say the receipt is the lifetime warranty

Yup. thats what I thought too, this kind of stuff should be standard one ma. Maybe its some parallel import.

At least he changed for me, next time, gonna buy my stuffs from CP and AP liao, at least they got a reputation to maintain.
