Quicktime icon on Raw file icon???

I shot some Raw image + small files with my 10D.
2 files were created straight from the camera : CRW file and THM file. I notice the THM file icon is the quicktime icon.
I don't remember seing the quicktime icon before.

And also, how do we extract the embedded jpeg file?

You can use the software that comes with the 10D. Or use 3rd party ones.
I use the Rawshooter Essentials which I am quite comfortable with. Best of all, it's free.

I can only see the raw file and edit in zoombrowser or PS, but where is the embedded jpeg? How to see the Jpeg files?
