Don't want to spark of anything but recent traffic logs off my router/firewall (and even browser) have shown that CS has embedded - atdmt.
At this very moment I see a - "Read mir.atdmt.com" and the likes - view.atdmt.com /spe.atdmt.com atdmt as far as i know is adware... what i wish to know is, what is it doing in embedded in the forums? |

You guys are real quick!
Those are tracking tags which are embedded into the graphic and are used by the agency - I do not believe that they are adware/spyware. More information can be found on http://www.atdmt.com/privacy/spyware/

to prevent any spyware from being subconciously loaded into ur pc, use ad-aware to scan, after the scan is complete, take note of the address of the suspected and key it into the IE properties, Security tabsheet, Restricted Sites, and click on Sites.
If the tracking cookie identified is aabbcc@valueclick.com, enter into the list of restricted sites as "*.valueclick.com". apply the settings and close the IE options. use Ad-aware to clean out the cookie as per normal. from then on, you'll not see anything from valueclick.com again. ![]() |

The atdmt.com also puts a cookie in and I have to to get the browser to disable that. Even as I am typing this, the access goes on. I might need to install a firewall to block the access... |

Just use the adblock plus extension with the filterset.g updater on firefox, and you will be ok. Also set it to block cookies from atdmt.

adadware will discover it
as a tracking cookie can destroy it easily but if it is really harmless then cannot be bothered to worry too much just delete from time to time if really harmful then admin should not put it in. well maybe in the real world, put aside idealistic mushiness commercial pressure is such after all it is a free forum with free space for uploads of photos .... they did ask for donations and to buy some database space so maybe do not react out too much |

The point is ... some of these atdmt points to servers that do not resolve. Hence the slowdown in page loadings.
