Default 20D infrared remote

Hi, can 20D shutter release be triggered by infrared remote (meaning not wired remote) like 300D? If so, what is the cheapest infrared remote solution available? Thanks.

Both PQ23 and sykestang sell infra-red remote controls at good prices. Ask them if they have a model to suit the 20D.

20D does not have a infrared remote shutter release mode. It is only available for 300D and 350D.

Wonder why this is so?

I have bought the remote from sykestang long ago. It works with 300D, not 20D.

To make 20D IR capable, you'll need to get the Canon LC-4 Wireless Controller. It's a hard-to-find item and pretty expensive too.
