sky55: how about waiting for the Ixus 800 to come out? Then I will decide between Ixus 60 and 800.

u may one check tis site out?
http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/came...1038-1234.html i'm nt too sure too abt. e differences of both cameras as i've nt really used both.. but frm my experiences wif e ixus series, i find dat e ixus 7+0 series haf a better feel to it. as in e grip and handlin is better.. more stable, less shake. but it also depends on ur uses.. if u're more of an outdoor person like often go hikin or beach, get e more ruggard ixus 750.. if juz for simple snapshots of moments wif family and friends and u dun nid to develop huge pictures (7.1 vs 6 mgp), e ixus 60 wld be a better call (save ur $$). yeahz.. if u're nt in a hurry, wait for e ixus 800. if i'm nt wrong, it does come wif IS (which works reasonably well).. and IS will definitely help for a basic P&S camera which grip ainT as solid as e powershot A, S and e discontinued G series. juz my two cents worth.. hope it helps. |

Is OIS necessarily better? I don't know if it's me, or do the photos from OIS cameras appear extremely noisy?

Got my Ixus 750! Pretty happy with it, can't wait to make full use of it for my upcoming Beijing trip.
