Default Getting frm the best shop.. Where?

Hi all,
I am aiming for a Canon G3 and got some quotes today .. I din know that Cathay Photo and John 3:16 were closed... Tts the cost of being a noob.

Anyway i got a quote from Alan Photo it was $1,230(with GST)
and another quote from Song Brothers nearby $1,215(with GST)

Song Brothers was willing to let go of G3 with upgrade to 128Mb CF for $1.3k (with GST CASH)

Questions..
Is Song Brothers reliable??. Anyone bought from them ??
Anyone got quotes from other shops... as my equotes havent been replied..

Kinda indecisive now..

IMHO, I don't think it matters whether they're reliable or not; the warranty is provided by Canon anyway...

I've heard ppl getting it from AP, but you'll need some bargaining skills to get a good deal.

actually with forums like this... all price info is being shared openly.. even AP knows it. Last i went i told them to lower a already lowest quoted price I see in the forum, and he just tell me about the forum that everyone is paying this price which is the cheapest in SG... which is true..

Ppl's park is famous for charging u cheaper camera then offset it with expensive accessories.. if u work the maths out then it might be more expensive.

oh? but can insist on not buying?
I only know canon A40 pouch is selling at $25 at the shop while $15 at AP. I was thinking should i get the pouch or not...cos I thinking of buying some lens and filter to play with so maybe getting a camera bag. er.....do I still need a pouch then?

any idea how much is these following accessories?

Lowepro Camera Bag - $10
52mm Lens Adaptor - $20
Tokina Polarising Filter - $16
Hoya +4 Close-Up Filter - $10

the price there is a seller in the forum...wondering is it worth buying these 2nd hand accessories at these price???

How about TKFOTO? I heard from most of my friends that they are quite reliable. They have a website at www.tkfoto.com.sg
