Apacer Compact Flash Card - Fake advertising???
As u guys know, there is a new compact flash card on the market. It is the Apacer. Every shop that sells it will display a table of compact flash cards write/read speed with , of course, the apacer being right at the top. The paper states that the table is taken from dpreview.com. ANd gues what???! I went to dp review and Apacer was totally not rated there! I think that they are trying to mislead us.

The card MAY be faster than the rest. But it is down right WRONG to mislead ur customers. And especially so when u try to quote a self-edited chart from dpreview.com. I should take a picture of the chart and email it to dpreview.com and see wat they do. Anyway, this compact flash was reviewed at another website - (http://www.robgalbraith.com/media/co...nikon_d1h.html) Tests shows that it is not recognizable by 2 nikon cameras, giving an error message. AND, it did not prove to be the fastest compact flash.

can't blame them lah.. we are the distro centre for asian IT goods so we get more OEM brands than UK or US... I mean US also have camera brands we've never heard of...
