Viewfinder: Which one is brighter? 300D or 20D

Dear all.

I would llike to confirm whether the 20D viewfinder may be brighter than the 300D.
If yes, is it significant or only slightly?

I understand that the 20D viewfinder is smaller due to the smaller mirror box (correct me if I am wrong), therefore, not sure if this may reduce the overall brightness compared to 10D or 300D.

Your guidance are welcome.
