Thread: Test to help you decide on your DSLR

  1. #1

Default Test to help you decide on your DSLR

here's a test which I think is quite interesting...........

blind test of the 4 DSLR

    d100, s2 pro, d60 and sd9

it is a blind test, where you're shown 4 images, then just take a paper and pen and write them down in your order of preference. Then check with the answer to see which camera you've unbiasely chosen

note, the order the photos are shown are also random, for example, choosing 1)
all the time does not mean you're choosing
    the same camera

there are 13 sets of comparism photos.

By the way, seems like the parson who posted the test made a mistake in the answers for comparison #7. The correct answer should be:

    A = Nikon, B = Canon, C = Sigma, D = Fuji

    http://www.dpreview.com/forums/read....essage=3774451

In that case, my results become:

    Fuji - 7
    Canon, Nikon - 1 each

Also, here's the consolidated results presented by the poster of the test:

    Comparison #1: Canon - 89%, Fuji - 0%, Nikon - 6%, Sigma - 6%

    Comparison #2: Canon - 34%, Fuji - 0%, Nikon - 11%, Sigma - 55%

    Comparison #3: Canon - 11%, Fuji - 86%, Nikon - 0%, Sigma - 3%

    Comparison #4: Canon - 33%, Fuji - 55%, Nikon - 3%, Sigma - 10%

    Comparison #5: Canon - 36%, Fuji - 62%, Nikon - 3%, Sigma - 0%

    Comparison #6: Canon - 6%, Fuji - 94%, Nikon - 0%, Sigma - 0%

    Comparison #7: Canon - 8%, Fuji - 92%, Nikon - 0%, Sigma - 0%

    Comparison #8: Canon - 3%, Fuji - 97%, Nikon - 0%, Sigma - 0%

    Comparison #9: Canon - 3%, Fuji - 94%, Nikon - 3%, Sigma - 0%

I realized that my choices coincide with the statistics except for comparison #2, where the majority voted for Sigma but I chose Nikon.
