any ansel adams photo books?
Anyone with photo books from Ansel Adams? Need to get some inspiration when i'm doing prints... or any technical b/w printing book...

actually, anyone knows where to get replica prints of Henri Cartier Bresson, Capa or Ansel Adams?

ansel adams has got 3 books.. the camera, the negative and the print..if i am not mistaken...
replica prints...u can juz surf the web for it... cheers |

hey gerald..long time man... actually yeah, i do know those 3 technical books from him, browsed thru them in my sch library, i was able to read another technical book, "Examples: The making of 40 photographs" i think was the title, excellent book for those b/w enthusiasts..was actually finding those coffee table, photographic books... mostly just the prints only.. was wondering if anyone wanted to let go of theirs if they had any of them.

Wonder if my print would serve any inspiration. Well, a sneak preview on an ongoing 1 year old project..
 Anyway, having books and replica prints are one way to go, but one of the most important aspects is meeting up and learn stuff from each other. Whatever happened to that printing session togather that you guy were so eager to talk so much about? Fizzled out? |

Ansel adams has a photo book titled 'Ansel Adams @ 100' there's a website somewhere.
surprisingly, he also has a coloured photo book. there's a great book titled 'masterprinter's workshop' can't reme publisher but it's always there @ Borders. hey, ya never mention anything bout that project ~ did ya? |

Yeah..I rem that master printer's book. Basically tells you how he made each and every of his award winning photographs..but not much on film dev. =/
