30D with Sigma 18-200mm in Beijing

Hi. Here's a few shots by the 30D with a Sigma 18-200mm taken while I was in Beijing. The Kungu shots were taken handheld at low shutter speed at ISO 1600.

wow seems like the noise control on 30D is better than 20D maybe you can show us some 100% crops of the iso1600 shots

100% crop. Pictures not as sharp as they were taken at 1/50 and 1/60 handheld at F5.6.

can see that the results are very impressive from Sigma lens, imagine when coupled with Canon's lens

Ironically, the image sensor is exactly the same as the 20Ds.

I bought at IT show Sigma booth last time... about 500+.
It's really a good walk around lens and although a bit soft at 200mm
If you are not target for long zoom with this lens, it works fantastic.

Hmmm did u mind me asking... what do u mean Soft @ 200mm?... thought if u set small App. and focus the right subject u get the sharp image correct me if I m wrong
