Thread: Freelance question...

    Default Freelance question...

I am a student living abroad, and I recently met with a large software company who is interested in buying some stock, royalty-free photos. Having never sold photos to a company like this - I really only sell to friends, family, and associates, I am not sure how to chare or what to even quote them with. The company is looking to use these stock photos (nature, clouds, flowers, etc) to either skin their browser/interface with, as well as include with their software. I know there exist places online to sell/buy stock photography, but I am curious as to how I would go about something like this.

    Any help would be appreciated

Perhaps you can offer to take some pictures for them and store it in a CD. Then give it to them as your mini portfolio and from there they will see how good your photos are. That's what i did at first, give them a first free compliment CD.
