Default Alright To Get D/C Online?

hey there,
has anyone tried doing it before? if i buy online instead of at the store, i can save around 200 dollars. but one thing though, i am not sure if its safe or not. they might give me some cameras with lotsa pixels problems etc. so any ideas? is it worth the problem?
is it possible to get online, then if i am not satisfied with the pixels, then i go sony centre to ask them to change it?
thanks

Where were you thinking of getting the camera from? There are several things you gotta watch out for. They may accept returns of cameras for exchange, but you should check to see who pays for the shipping and other details like that.

One more detail to note is that digital cameras usually do not come with international warranty, so if you purchase a camera from a different market, its warranty will most likely not be valid in your own country.
