Shoe Sale Madness in Suntec

Happened to walk pass Carrefour and saw this from the second level in suntec on my way to the IT Show.

The shoes must be selling at dirt cheap prices to have created such an chaotic scene...

Wow, that is sure crazy!!! Luckily I didn't know about it before hand, otherwise I would be in that crowd, possibly on top of the mountain of shoes!

I see more empty boxes than shoes. Hope the pairs of new shoes were tied together!

maybe it is a challenge to those with odd size feet? find the right size and get it at half price?

pity the sales staff that have to go through and pack all those mess.

Why not say it was due to poor management on the part of the company?

There was definitely a lack of service staffs to service the enthusiastic customers. If customers are left on their own to pick their shoes' sizes, instead of the staffs servicing them, this kind of chaos will happen.

Are you sure they are all singaporeans? Look carefully at the photos again....

imo the "mountain" of shoes n boxes r not safe at all

....some1 might "climb" on it n slip or etc n may sprain their ankle or injured....

Wonder how to choose a pair of shoes like that. Might find one side of the shoe, but not the other side...
