Thank you for your comment DikieD and Hays.
You are right, not just the hairs lke iron pins, but the skin also damn rough and tough.

I like pic 05 the best among the series.
You can view the pic in the club snap picture gallery.

couldn't tell it was an elephant at first glance. the loop in the trunk and bg trees are a distraction. then again, how does one make an elephant pose, get up close and survive to tell? i hope this wasn't taken too close...

Thanks for comment, I just trigger happy and keep shooting at that time....

I am using Tamron 28-75mm and shoot at focal length 28mm with f2.8.
Anymore closer, I will kena whack up side down and end up in the hospital.
Somemore this elephant keep spiting out something from the trunk.
Kind of disgusting. But Thanks godness my camera is safe.

very unique angle

like the way my attention is being drawn to the mouth, although it is no in focus.

would it be better if ps away the coconut trees?

Wah! Nice trunk! I like the composition, and the spontaneity of the shot.

Perhaps you can try a slightly lower angle and a bit more to the left to fill the frame with the arch of the trunk? Just a little suggestion.

Try to do that, but I think I am too close to the elephant. About 1 meter away.
It will great if I carry wide lens at that time. Thanks

Never notice about the mouth. Now you mention, the mouth reminds me of something else......(censor).......
Will try PS the tree and see the impact
