Now... that's really expensive! Can get two megapower already. Lets not forget the shipping charges?

Thank for the info.

Are you using it, Goondu and CameraKit? Good? What is the model no?

Yes, I'm using it. Bought 2 actually. 1 @ $40 and the other @ $35.

Well, personally speaking, I feel that the Megapower does last longer than the original Canon ones. By how much, it is very difficult to say.

As to the model, can't be sure but it should either be either the BP-511 or the BP-512.

Note that the pins are gold in colour instead of silver.

Performance wise its comparable (or better some claim) than the original Canon BP511 battery.

The model is the same.... just ask for 3rd party BP511 (comes in a yellow box).

I'm using the BP511 for my G1 and D60. BP512 is a higher capacity battery which works on the G3.

Please check the mAh before paying cos I've read somewhere in this forum of someone getting a low powered one at the same price as the 1200mAh!

Hi,

we are the official distributor in Singapore for Maha batteries. It is possible for us to get the canon battery for a much lesser price than $75 (maybe around $50) if there are more than 10 orders. Our contacts also ensure faster delivery to you. Please reply to this thread if you are interested, we will contact you.
