    well just got my 2100 repaired...
    it's been some time since I've used a digicam...
    wow it feels gimmicky vs my eos50, but the instant feedback is so good...

    and now I appreciate some features my prosumer digicam has that my sLR hard to get..

    2.8 to 3.5 from 38-380mm (7-70mm)
    FP flash up to 1/800s
    closeup "macro"
    AWB
    AISO
    600 grams

    $250!!!
    the PCB replaced includes the TTL socket, some image procssor chips, some buffers, and a AAA sized capacitor!, which I suspect is the thing spoilt... damn...

    That should be the flash capacitors...
