Print Photo

Hi all,

I would like to print my photos and I really confusing abt those resolution stuff..

for example,

one SHQ quality photo at 2010 X 1800 megapixels

can I just print it out by using those software from the DC? (i am using Olympus)

but if I want to print it out from the lab (i.e. Foto.com at OUB Building), they require the size of the photo is 640 x 480 for 4R. (please refer to their web for detail).

So, I actually need to degrade my photo quality in order to let them print for me?

Erm the best way to find out is actually to print it out and see for yourself. If you like it, then its good enough!

Regardin the printing service. I dont think you will need to "degrade" the photo yourself. Yours should be fine as long as it adheres to the same aspect ratio of 640x480.

But gotta be careful the 4r pics are not in the aspect ratio of 4:3 like in our digital cameras. It is 3:2. Cropping by the service may be done.. Be sure to check and confirm first.
