Sure Bobman, just started doing b/w prints myself in my glorious toilet/darkroom.. Great if we could meet up with others and share our experience...

No more lame jokes such as drinking developers as coffee from you guys.
Well tuck, looks like you're gonna have more 24 hour orgies in the darkroom again. That was way too strong for stopbath...and get a damn new safelight man! A warning to you guys however, tucker does.not.spoonfeed. |

Did a little..but doesn't seem much use. It seems better if you do the 2 bath on the neg instead....in fact 2 bath on paper seems abit urmm..troublesome.
I got myself some Tetenal Emofin, something like diafine I think. I'd try it out later but I'd reckon it's probably good for those sunny high contrast days or night shoots (anything with high contrast). I still think for normal contrast subjects our one shots still do better. (One caveat: It seems that these 2 baths things seemed to give reduced sharpness. Don't know about it...will try it out and see...) I sure would like to try stockler's bath though. (P.S: Those base fogged negs turned out great. Looks like it ain't so bad after all) |
