    Hi Members
Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I think I need to start off with a basic photography course inorder to get abit more knowledge before digging my pocket for a resonable good equipment which suit me. This forum is really amazing. I hope I can contribute to this forum in due time.

    Many thanks

A course is not necessary, usually you can learn this by yrself or your friends.

read books on photography, if u have frens who are into photograhy, tag along with them when they are out shooting, be it portraits/landscape/streets etc, the basics are more or less the same, get ur basics right 1st...

then after u are sure u have really out-used a prosumer, perhaps then u are ready to switch to the slr/dslr wagon. (provide u still have e passion for photography)
