its not the mecha that makes a good story... Do You Remember Love?

like i still find it nicer to watch 0079 robots then the Seed Robots... i find it more realistic than the Seed's one... esp the politics and such...

    Climax UC? What's that?

The only mecha game I play are the various Super Robot Wars on different consoles. And while the graphics are usually much cooler flashy for those "super" robot like Gaiking, Gunbuster, Mazinkaiser, Dancouga and Daimos, the Gundam "real" robots are the cornerstones of these games! Love the way Camille talks a lot right before he shoots an enemy down! Haa~!

Yar! The one year war is the whole basis of Gundam. Without it, there won't be classic characters like Amuro and Char! Char is of course the japanese equivalent of Darth Vader!

Well, there's one series which is a complete waste of time though, and the mecha are definitely better than the story! You know... the one with "Shinnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiinnnnnggggg Fffffiiiiiinnnnggggeeerrrr!!!"

Wait till they decide to release the Gundam-cardbuilder arcade game in Singapore, that would be so much cooler. Imagine arcade game with unit management, character training and card collection all in one. Its based on the One Year War and all its sub story lines.

Anyways, the One Year War and all its sub stories are the better ones i have seen, the later stories suck big time besides the Stardust Memories and War in the Pocket.

I don't agree. Zeta Gundam deserves a spot side by side with 0079, in terms of the maturity in story-line, and the intricate relationship between the different characters.

F91, though a failure as a standalone movie, has opened a very interesting world in the crossbone gundam manga.

Sorry forgot about Z and ZZ and Nu Gundam. These are good ones. But the ones like turn A, V gundam, Seed and Destiny serious brought lows to the series

    http://gundam-cardbuilder.com/index_c.html

Here`s a little info on the game. Each arcade has a 8 player machine and depending the results of the battles that were played on the machine, it would reflect whether the Federation or Zeon is winning the war. Players act as squad commanders and manage their characters like Char or Amuro or the Black tri star. The machines and weapons used. As the squad level goes up, more points are available, so you can either use it to upgrade to more powerful cards or add more units into your squad. Squad commanders can vote on which machines would have a lower cost to reflect on the overall war effort.

It can be really addictive to play Luckily I have the determination to call it quits before I spend too much to play.
