    Default lens ...studio ?/

    can anyone tell me what lens is suitable for studio shots other than the aperature lens 50mm f1.8 ??? using tripod and SB800 ??

    nikon D50 user + sb800 + 50mm f1.8 + 18-55mm

    for basic studio shots, what you have is adequate.

    could also try a 28-105, its nice and sharp at a reasonable price

    Just need the D50 and the 50mm, maybe add a 85mm, thats enough already.

    The longest I used: 70-200VR/80-200 f/2.8

    there isnt a lens you cannot use in a studio. actually it just depends on what kinda perspective you want to achieve.... o_O""

    If your studio is 10 sq metre and shooting a car, you might need a 14mm and shoot outside the door or abort the whole project altogether.
