Talking FunkyCam - the digital Holga?

okie... know most of the CSers loath Michael Reichmann. but, humour me for a while and read this very interesting article of this FunkyCam.

http://luminous-landscape.com/essays/funkeycam.shtml

*darn... makes me wanna go buy one too, just for the heck of it!*

those shots look horrendous. might as well shoot bad shots and photoshop them later.

shoot a holga with real film in it.

Do I sense an MO here? hEHEHE

Actually, it looks really attractive - small, plasticky and can actually take photos! And it comes on a key-chain! Man, I used to have a fetish with miniaturised replicas of anything when I was a kid!

These also remind me of the locally available (but much more X) C-HEEZ super compacts you see from time to time at road-shows as freebies for CC or Insurance plans sales.

The whole purpose of these things is: HAVE FUN! I'm goiung to get me one ... if I can justify another camera purchase to my wife! LOL!

The sales of these cameras will hot up if a campaign is is started such that if anyone submits a picture of someone smoking at bus stops or prohibited places, or someone eating in the MRT, and if these people are successfully convicted and fined, the photographer gets 25% of the fine money. Sure to make law enforcement a public affair and deter people from flouting such rules.

Is any Straits Times or Zaobao photographer reading this?

On 2nd thought, not bad for spy work.
A bit of modification and you can have a wired remote trigger from the top of your foot, thru your pants, to your fingers.
