Did not order from Barrios the last time when he had it for sale. Went all over town to look for some, to no avail. Saw the 8 pack GP alkaline batteries with one battery case given but felt it was ridiculous to buy a few packs for them just to get my hands on the battery cases.
Any kind soul out there who can shed some light on where to buy them and how much? I usually carry about 10-12 spare batteries along with my equipment. Thanks in advance! |

Hi Guys,
I have an alternative idea. Please bear with me. I have also been carrying spare batteries around but with a difference. I use the little Ziplock bags that medication from doctors come from. A normal one will hold 4 batteries without any chance of shorting out and also is totally impervious to water. I also carry a larger empty one that will fit my Digicam and seal well. A requirement in our Humid and Oft-rainy weather. Thanks for listening to my ramblings. Alfred |

If you are really desperate, buy 4 AA size Energizer Titanium batteries. Their cases, although a little soft, can be recycled.

That's even more expensive than getting the GP ones and the quality of the case is not as good
