    Default Printing Scanned Text

Just to ask, if I were to scan a paper with text on it, what settings should I use for the printer in Adobe Photoshop to ensure that the quality is equivalent to usual text quality?

The same as what resolution you set for scanning it. I usually scan all my documents at 300dpi with my flat bed scanner and then I will open it in Photoshop to view it and then will improve the constrast abit more and then I will go to my laser or colour printer, set it to 300 dpi and just print. Comes out really fine. If you scan at 300dpi but you want to print by setting your printer to 600dpi or 1000dpi...that is totally a waste of file size. Makes no difference.

300 dpi is basically good enough for scanning and printing out on a normal bubble jet printer.
