Apple 20" uses DVI (Digital Visual Interface). As long as you have DVI interface on your machine, should work fine.

Yes. As said above all you need is a DVI output. But seriously, if you are not a Mac user why don't you get the Dell 24 inch, I think its cheaper than the apple 20", uses the same the manufacturer's screen, and its got a whole host of inputs available.

I'm a mac user, and I wouldn't use any non-mac stuff on my mac (typical mac loyalist). However, if I ever own a PC (Yikes!), I would rather get a Dell cause its mucho cheapo.

It'll work just fine, but it won't display the bios setup and stuff, and will only come on when windows is logged on.

The Dell 20" contrast ratio is 600:1. Is it enough for photo?
What's the contrast ratio of the Apple's 20" ?

I read that apple and dell uses the same LCD, but why I also get feedback that the viewing angle from the apple is better ?

cheers

:-D same here.

I agree that if you're not a mac user, no need to invest in the 20" as even though it's being sold at a relatively low price, the Dell 24" is gonna be much cheaper.
