Anyone owns this lens Minolta 28-135mm f4-4.5

Hi,
Anyone is using this lens.. saw few lens selling at ebay.. and feedback is that it's as sharp as 70-210mm f4 lens..

It is indeed a wonderful lens. Very sharp ! It flares easily though ..

It is as good as "G" lens without the price tag!!

Very sharp and well build.

This lens is on my 5D all the time. Heavy but nicely balanced once you find the sweet spot to hold it. As for flare, I've managed to find the rubber hood and flower hood at K-13 in Peninsular that can be used with it. They're also selling a Tamron 72mm CPL for $45! only.

One of Minolta's best lenses. Highly recommended. Very sharp, excellent colours and contrast. Pity I had to let go of it to a fellow CS member
