I bought one which meets exactly what you describe, at $40
I got it from Fotoguide, Peninsula Plaza. The brand is called "Tanrac"or something, can't remember. |

But if i'm not mistaken, a SLIK U9000 will cost only slightly higher then that price. That's a good tripod. |

after wrecking my legs over peninsula and sls, seems like my dream tripod does not exists! togu, fotoguide guy said tamrac is only camera bag not tripod. think u refering to tanner. in any case tanner also too long, all more than 30cm folded, might as well get slik6600.... hmmm... hopes dashed for my dream tripod... ![]()

8 sections sounds like its using telescopic legs... well anyway have resigned to reality and settled for one at 36cm folded... defn'ly not a heavy duty one but shd suffice for small dc and high mobility... anyway, until new models come up, i'll be using my new tripod. so thanx all! ![]()

anyway...
i own a SILKU9000... but lost the adapter thingy that u screw to ur cam.... anyone knows where to get it, cheaper?.... and it seems the 'screw hole's diameter is different from the bigger(size) SLR cams and compact digicams..... therefore... i think i will need two types.... |
