MaZu Festival @ MiaoLi(Taiwan)

An annual Taoist event held in honour of Ma Zu in the village of Bai Sha Tun, the Goddess whom the local Taiwanese worshipped highly. The local devotees in will travel in a procession to Bei Gang and then back to Bai Sha Tun, which took 8 days and 7 nights.
Of course, I was there to witness this lively event on the last day. The thing that really amazed me is that, almost the entire village, took pride and effort to cook from their home and serve food and drinks to visitors and devotees along the last leg of the journey.

It's all happening in Miao Li, further south of Hsin Zhu.
Hmmm... I'm stayin in Taipei. Been here for slightly more than a year, working here too!

Good price? I guess most of the stuff are cheaper if you get it here in Singapore. Especially some of our fellow CSer, in the consumer section. I've compare the prices and still find that it's better here(in CS). But if you like to check it out, there's a "camera street" near Taipei main station. It's whole street selling camera stuffs. It's call Kai Feng Jie.
