Where and what brand of camera strap should I get? My camera plus my lens is already 1.4kg.

Optech straps for camera bodies are between $26 to $35... the $26 one will do.
East Gear in Peninsular Plaza sells something similar (beoprene, stretchable type) for a little less... Sports Connection in Peninsular Plaza sell Eagle Creek straps also. These are heavy duty ones with very thick padding. They are very comfortable but not very good where sweat is concerned. About $15 each for the broad ones (good for camera bags) and $8 for the narrower ones. Spoilt for choice yeah? ![]() |

I agree that Matin is good.
I have a more expensive Lowepro one that the Matin matches in quality. IMHO, the cheaper Optech simply falls behind in comfort and looks. Get in touch with Perly...

Is it really so good? May be I shall consider also. Have been using optech which is not bad. Eastgear one, the quality not that good, will drop some black bits out while using, but it's cheap.
