Hi Lumix Owners,
I am a FZ3-user myself, currently looking for a Lumix for my gf, a beginner or rather just for casual holiday pictures taking. Any good recommendations - no need high resolution - no need many times optical zoom - must have IOS - Preferrably to be slim (Woman prefers slim than more features) - Budget $500 Kiamsia for any kind replies ![]() |

For girls, then must be FX9 (abt $600) or FX8 (abt $500), all other Lumix are considered "bulky".

10s for so many kind replies.
Just wondering how about the followings, slightly older design, are they still available & good for beginners? - FX1 - FX5 - FX2 - FX7 They look pretty compact and slim to me 2. BTW, any other brands recommendation equivalent to FX8? |

Hmmm for compact camera capable with OIS, I think only Lumix have it.
Unless you want to consider Fuji Finepix Z2 or F11, capable for high ISO 1600. |
