Default Should Digital Camera Body store in Dry Cabinet

Due low humidity in the dry cabinet will cause high electric static charge on the camera body, this will lead to dust easily stuck on the Cmos sensor. What will be the con to leave the body outside of the dry cabinet, may someone enlighten me.

I am not very sure, but usually I take up the cam body and leave it for a while before removing the lens from the body.

I think we should group ourselve and the dry cab together when taking cam out of the dry cab.

    What is the proper way?

I don't think you need to worry about static electricity. The item build up static when it rubs on something and build a charge. You're just leaving the camera inside. Also most cameras are made of polycarbonate or metal which do not build up static electricity.

In our equatorial climate, you wouldn't want to do without the dry cabinet.

The main concern is the filter protecting the cmos sensor if dust are easily attracted to it then maybe how we should discharge the body before using it, you should know what is the consquences when the cmos sensor stuck with plenty of dust. Just how i think.

If it's a static problem then grounding would help. AFAIK, mine is not grounded. Maybe I should ground mine too.

why so? For lenses I know mould will grow.. but for the body I still put mine inside anyway. Everything in one location is easier and neater.

I have no idea if it really attract dust due to the dry environment.

However, what I do know is that when the sensor is in operation, it will build up static charge and attract dust by itself.

I think would be better for dust on the sensor than mould on the sensor.
