My focus was initially on the exhaust pipe during capture, but it turned out that the shadow was the main draw! Most of the shots were done with EV of -1. Managed to capture the dark shades of the aircraft accurately, and retain all the highlight detail, but lost some info in the shadow areas, which is evident in the dark under carriage of the aircraft. How did you guys handle the scenes? Was yr focus on capturing as much detail of the aircraft, at the expense of over-exposing the dark tones of the aircraft as well as detail in the sky, or on preserving highlight detail and colour accuracy?
