Yo people what are your views on the Sony 1 hour Quick charger? The price is also $45 and it has the same functions as the RipVan one I think perhaps you can share your views. Thanks

I remember reading here or at dpreview that it charges to 80% of capacity only. Good thing is the autovoltage for travelling.

Hello,
I just boght one at Mustafa for S$37 or so including two AA NiMH batteries and I am very happy with it. The 1 hr charge however is only for NiCd AAA batteries, for 2 AA NiMH batteries it takes about 1 1/2 hrs, for 4 AA NiMH batteries it is about 3 hours. It all depends on the capacity of your battery and whether it is NiCd or NiMH. Still faster than my older GP 18 hrs charger! GP also sells a faster charger but it is bigger. Follow the instructions of the charger. |
