you are not the only one.

but i hope they do something abt the lens cap and hood design. its too cumbersome to unscrew the cap for the 40mm.

lucky i did not get the 16-45 as well.
    haa.

maybe the 50/1.4/1.7 will be phase out?

not rich man...but my job requires it....has been using H1 with kodak back....so compare to a phase one or leaf back..its a big bargain liao...some more i not canon user and has a few pentax 645 and 67 lenses(i understand my lenses very well)...so its naturally the choice to buy it...abt 13 to 14k....cheap liao compare to other digital backs...can buy a additional body with the price difference.

They might provide it as a kit with the 55mm

weeehehehe, looking at this is making my heart flutter.

but most prob i'll be trying to get the ds ppl might be selling away for the new pentax dslr. Of course budget pemitting.

p.s. Doesn't the new MF looks a little bit like a hybrid of mz-s and the 645nii ? So I guess they're sticking with the strategy of something like MF for pros, the dslr for adv users, and p&s for the rest. 'Cause out of all the brands, they are the only one (I think) without any bridge/prosumer dgcams.

think their DS/DL kit is probably cheap and small enuff to satisfy the prosumer range.
heard its getting cheaper as well. also with an upgrade path for other lense.

If the reductions are not factored here, I think u can buy from USA direct cos the DL kit go ard slightly less than 500USD (800+ to 900SGD) in some online retailers with free shipping and some of those local electronic retailers like Costco actually slashed prices of DS to ard the same to clear stocks in some states. U can either get a fren to send back or use vpost (ard 50 SGD with gst i think).

Well, that is true. I've always thought that was more logical anyway.
