Default Anyone using 80-200 ED with Nikon TC1.7x

Anyone using this? appreciate your feedback as I am thinking of getting the TC. I was told by CP that the TC is not compatible with the 80-200,2.8 EDThanks.

SO, I have to use 1.4x Nikon? How about Kenko? Is the glass good?

1.4 is the only one that is decent enough. 2x might degrade your pic quality until it is unbearable for you.
